Rope's End
a romantic tale with a twist
by Douglas Bowie
February 14 – March 2, 2008
Toby
Boone, a middle-aged man, sits alone in a drab room tying the end of a
rope. He is tired of being on the losing end of life and is
contemplating ending it all. When he comes across a photo of the love
of his life he is struck by a moment of hope that she could save him
from the abyss. There is only one problem; the last time he saw her
they were 13 years old and at summer camp. What if she doesn’t remember
him? Even worse, what if she does? This is a witty and funny look at
‘what might have been’.
