World Premiere Comedy
By Norm Foster
Starring Norm Foster & Patricia Vanstone

Meet 62-year old wealthy novelist David Kilbride, and his housekeeper of 28 years, Miss Hopperstaad. A discussion one evening about each other's lives reveals that she knows everything about him and he knows nothing about her. In this witty comedy written by Norm Foster and starring Norm Foster and Patricia Vanstone, audiences will be treated to many secrets and surprises!

"Norm Foster is our most-produced playwright for a reason: he's very, very funny." -- Montreal Gazette

"Just saw 'On A First Name Basis' and my husband and I LOVED it! Wow! Fantastic script - sooo well written and amazing acting. Brilliant all around." ... TP.

"What a wonderful evening, full of laughs and frivolity, and the vocabulary was worth the trip even without the superb acting! Thanks to Norm Foster for his wit and language capabilities in writing the story, and his and Patricia's superb acting. It was a wonderful portrayal of two opposite characters who lived on stage. This play will go places and we are proud that it started here." ... B & H Linton

"He (Norm Foster) has such a way of showing people how to look at life so differently and yet quietly educating us at the same time!!!" ... BW

"My friends and I attended Norm Foster's play 'On a First Name Basis'. Wow! Wow! Wow!" ... "A standing ovation just didn't seem to be enough to show how much all 6 of us loved this play." L.E.

"This play is a real gem and one in which you will leave the theatre on a high. You will laugh, sometimes cry and you will probably recognize yourself at times as the two marvellous characters Norm Foster has created begin to share their thoughts and feelings." M.C.
