The Scenic Route
Program Director: Chandra Mulder
Ages 11-16
A fun, challenging course of taking a scene to the limit and beyond! Using
theatre exercises and improv games, this course will give you the tools of the
trade to tackle any scene/play and be brilliant!! Chandra encourages students
to think outside of the box and have fun while learning. After all, that's what
theatre is about!
Mondays, March 22 to May 10

Brush Up Your
Shakespeare
Program Director: Steve Urion
Ages 11-16

Studying Shakespeare takes lots of practice.In this six week class, participants will work to understand classical text
and learn how to deliver monologues and short scenes. Both beginners and those who have taken a

before will be challenged in their work and gain useful skills for
performing Shakespeare.

Mentoring Professionals Program
Throughout the season there are opportunities for youth to mentor with our youth program directors, stage managers, technical director, publicist and marketing manager. Each year we offer high school co-op opportunities to 2 or 3 students. Please leave your name with the box office.
Volunteering and Community Service Hours
Theatre Orangeville has the opportunities if you have the hours. We ask that participants commit to “finishing the job” even if it extends beyond 40 hours. The show must go on! Please leave your name with the box office.
