ONE-WEEK SUMMER PROGRAM FOR YOUTH AGES 10-14 WHO ARE "NEW TO THEATRE"
ONE-ACT PLAYS AND MUSIC EVERY DAY!

Dates: August 23 to 27Times: 9:00 am - 1:00 pm
Participants will be divided into smaller groups to work on one-act plays. Warm up games and music interpretation will happen daily. Pop songs will be used to develop the story that lies within. This "New To Theatre" program will develop essential drama and presentation skills in young "budding" actors.
There will be a "Big Show" performance on Friday, August 27th at 12:00 noon. Parents, caregivers and friends are invited to attend.

2011 SPRING PROGRAMMING FOR YOUTH
IT'S SATURDAY

Ages: 7-11
Dates: Wednesdays, March 23 - May 11 (Performance Night May 13)
Time: 6:30 - 8:30 pm
elebrate a "day off" in the life of a kid! From watching cartoons to piano lessons, from football practice to chores, you'll explore all the options for activities ... or are they options? Participants will build beginner skills in musical theatre performance. Seven original songs and short connecting skits will be rehearsed and choreographed and parents will be treated to a performance at the end of the 8-week course. Each week will involve a warm-up, character building, scene work, and dance. Participants will be expected to spend some time at home learning music. The last couple of sessions will involve the process of putting together the show, including runs with costuming and minimal props and sets. No experience necessary.
