Theatre Orangeville Youth Singers

The Theatre Orangeville Youth Singers (T.O.Y.S.) continue to be an integral part of Theatre Orangeville’s mandate to offer quality programs for young people in our community, and this year they’re back with new opportunities!

‍

T.O.Y.S. members, whether new to singing or experienced, will develop a general appreciation of vocal skills and receive specific training in choral singing. Emphasis on teamwork and ensemble performance will build up self-confidence in each member.

This season we have 3 terms for participants to try! Our Fall term from September to December will focus on skill development with performance opportunities, our Winter/Spring term, running from January to end of May will focus on strengthening choral singing and further developing performance skills as they design and rehearse their own final spring production. Full term participants will receive the full experience of both the fall and winter/spring sessions as well as experiencing preparing for performances with multiple opportunities to sing in front of live audiences. Regardless of which term, all singers will work collaboratively and create lasting memories!
