A Season of Belonging at Theatre Orangeville

What does it mean to belong? For some, it’s that feeling when you walk into a room and are greeted by a familiar smile. For others, it’s knowing there’s a place where your voice, your story, your laughter matter. At Theatre Orangeville, belonging isn’t just a by-product of what we do, it is the reason we exist.

Every time the lights dim and the stage comes to life, something special happens. As we head into the fall and holiday season, that sense of togetherness feels especially important. The world feels uncertain at times (ok, most times these days), but at Theatre Orangeville, there is warmth, laughter, and connection. Here, everyone belongs - whether you’re attending a mainstage play, a youth program, or one of our inclusive initiatives like Creative Partners On Stage.

And now, we have the chance to celebrate that belonging in the most joyful way possible: with our upcoming fundraiser, ‘Twas the Night.

On Saturday November 15th, Theatre Orangeville will transform the ballroom of Hockley Valley Resort into a magical gathering place filled with music, entertainment, delicious food, and the spirit of giving. It’s more than a fundraiser - it’s a party with a purpose. Join our new Artistic Director, Jennifer Stewart, and our Executive Director, Sharyn Ayliffe, as they don their holiday best and host an evening full of wonder, excitement, and special guests! Every ticket sold ensures that our stage continues to shine brightly, not only for audiences but for the hundreds of local artists, youth, and community members who find a home here.
