Storytelling & Song: An Actor’s Guide to Acting Through the Music

The Storytelling & Song: An Actor’s Guide to Acting through Music focuses on using song as a storytelling tool rather than a vocal showcase. Participants will work with Artistic Director Jennifer Stewart to explore how lyrics, music, and character come together to create compelling, believable  performances. Through guided exercises and skill-building activities, actors will learn how to make clear choices, connect emotionally to the material, and communicate intention while performing a song, and singing the story.
