About the fundraiser

Held on the Opening Night of our final show of the season, Starlight Gala is an annual fundraiser that celebrates our local community, the performing arts, and our programming.

Along with an incredible meal from partnering downtown restaurants and an exceptional live performance, guests get to witness first-hand the announcement of the upcoming season’s playbill. This year, we will be announcing the shows for our 30th ANNIVERSARY SEASON - a night not to be missed!

As a not-for-profit, Theatre Orangeville relies heavily on the incredible support of our community. Starlight Gala plays a significant role in helping to raise funds to support our playwrights, local artists, youth programs and inclusive programming supporting our neuro diverse community.

The Timeline and What to Expect...

Our Starlight Gala 2023 Schedule of Events:

  • 5:15pm - Arrive at restaurant of your choice (previously selected at time of ticket purchase)
  • 7:00pm - Dinner is finished. Yourself and your party will leave and head over to the Theatre - meeting us in the Atrium of the Town Hall
  • 7:00 - 7:15pm - Dessert + Coffee is served in the Atrium
  • 7:15pm - 30th Anniversary Season is Announced
  • 8:00pm - The New Canadian Curling Club starts in the Theatre

Your Ticket to Starlight Gala 2023 is $160/each

*This includes a $50 tax receipt

We are very pleased to share the menu options from our 3 downtown restaurant partners for Starlight Gala.

New This Year!! At the time of booking, you will only need to select what restaurant you wish to dine at. Menu selections can be made that night directly at the restaurant of choice. Each meal comes with one (1) glass of wine, your appetizer and entrée. Any additional appetizers, menu items or drinks will be billed by the restaurant directly to you and your party at time of departure.

Make your restaurant selection early - as seating at each is limited.

Option #1 - Bluebird Cafe & Grill

Choice Appetizer

  • Spring Mixed Greens - Tossed with house vinaigrette
  • Caesar alla Bluebird - Crisp romaine, homemade croutons, tossed with our house made dressing
  • Chef's Soup Creation - Your server will review the Chef's 'Soup of the Day' creation with you

Choice Entree

  • Pasqualotti California Roasted Trio - Fresh pasta filled with roasted garlic, sun-dried tomatoes and asiago cheese served in a light pink sauce with roasted sweet red peppers, Bermuda onions and topped with roasted almonds
  • Pollo Porcini - Grilled breast of chicken served in a wild mushroom demi-glaze, served with mini roasted potatoes and stir fried vegetables
  • Certified Angus 8oz Striploin - Grilled to perfection and served over a brandy demi-glaze served with mini roasted potatoes and stir fried vegetables
  • Steelhead Trout Fillet - A boneless trout served with a lemon tarragon brandy sauce, served with mini roasted potatoes and stir fried vegetables

Option #2 - Barley Vine Rail Co.

Choice Appetizer

  • Chef's Soup Creation - Ask your server about Chef's soup creation freshly made using local ingredients
  • Greek Salad - Iceberg lettuce, feta cheese, mixed peppers, red onions, cherry tomatoes, Kalamata olives, cucumber boiled egg, zesty herb vinaigrette (Gluten Free + Option to be modified to Vegetarian / Vegan)
  • House Salad - Baby greens, cucumber, tomato, red onion, pickled peppers, goat cheese, honey balsamic vinaigrette (Gluten Free + Option to be modified to Vegetarian / Vegan)
  • Warmed Olives - Marinated mixed olives, roasted garlic, fine herbs & olive oil (Gluten Free + Option to be modified to Vegetarian / Vegan)

Choice Entree

  • Shrimp Linguine - Pan seared shrimp tossed in a rich and creamy alfredo sauce on a bed of linguine (Option to modify to Gluten Free)
  • Salmon - Grilled salmon with charred lemon butter sauce served with mashed potato and seasonal vegetables (Gluten Free meal)
  • Wild Boar Bolognese - Slow stewed wild boar and ground chuck, tomatoes, garlic, spiral noodles & garlic toast (Option to modify to Gluten Free and/or modified to Vegetarian / Vegan)
  • Chicken Piccata - Pan seared chicken breast in a white wine, butter lemon sauce, served with mashed potatoes and seasonal vegetables (Gluten Free meal)

Option #3 - RustiK Local Bistro

Choice Appetizer

  • Daily Soup - inspired by the season
  • RustiK Caesar Salad - romaine / nappa cabbage / Grana Padano parmesan cheese / croutons / lardons / RustiK anchovy dressing
  • RustiK Greens - mixed greens / shaved vegetables / toasted almonds / mustard vinaigrette (Gluten Free Option + Vegan)

Choice Entree

  • Beef Bourguignon - beef braised in red wine jus / roasted potatoes / market vegetables (Gluten Free Option)
  • Rainbow Trout - pan seared / gremolata / roasted potatoes / market vegetables (Gluten Free Option)
  • Linguine Aglio e Olio - mixed vegetables / white wine / garlic / olive oil / chili flakes / herbs (Vegan Option)
