Debbie Sherwood

Councillor Debbie Sherwood has been an appointed member to the Theatre Orangeville board since 2022.  Debbie has lived in and raised her family in Orangeville since 1979 and has supported the local arts for many years.

Councillor Sherwood advocates for expanding access to live theatre, supporting local artists and ensuring that the performing arts remain a vibrant part of the community. 

Outside of public service, Debbie enjoys attending theatre productions, traveling, gardening, volunteering and spending time with family and friends.

With a strong passion for the arts, Debbie has focused on initiatives that strengthen local infrastructure and support community programs that improve the quality of life for residents
