Welcome to A Season of Discovery - a thrilling theatrical journey featuring five fabulous mainstage productions and one musical add-on presentation audiences won’t want to miss. From powerful storytelling and unforgettable characters to laughter, music, and moments that stay with you long after the curtain falls, this season promises adventure, imagination, and DISCOVERY.

Subscription renewals have now been sent to current subscribers, and we’re delighted to welcome both returning and new patrons to secure their seats for the season ahead. Five-show and three-show subscriptions are now available, offering savings of up to 19% on a five-show package and up to 14% on a three-show subscription, along with access to discounted tickets for family and friends who may wish to join you at performances.

New for the 2026/27 season, we’re introducing Flex Subscriptions, offering even more freedom to enjoy the season your way. Flex Subscribers can commit to the five-show or three-show mainstage packages and then reserve their seats for the performances that best fit their schedules - online at their convenience, or with assistance from our friendly Box Office team*.

We’re also introducing new performance times designed with our audiences in mind. Beginning with the first mainstage show of the 33rd season, the second week of each production will now feature a Thursday matinee at 2pm in place of the traditional Thursday evening performance. In addition, the third Saturday evening performance will now begin at 4pm, offering an earlier evening option for those travelling from farther away or who simply prefer to head home a little earlier after a night at the theatre.

And there’s even more good news for subscribers - online ticket exchanges will now be available at no cost. If your plans change, simply go online and exchange your tickets yourself with ease*.

Subscriptions are on sale exclusively until April 12th, giving subscribers first access to the best seats in the house before single tickets go on sale. We’re making it more convenient than ever to subscribe and save.

Now scroll down to explore the incredible productions that will take audiences on A Season of Discovery during our 33rd season at Theatre Orangeville.

*For full details on Flex Subscriptions or online ticket exchanges, please call our Box Office for details.

Drumroll please… We’re proud to present our 33rd Season Playbill:

Join us from September 25th to 27th as we take a musical journey back in time with How We Got to Jersey: A Tale of Two Frankies.

Created and Performed by Adrian Marchuk & Jeff Madden, How We Got To Jersey: A Tale Of Two Frankies is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to hear not one, but TWO Frankie Vallis in a showstopping concert revue that takes you behind the scenes of the blockbuster Broadway smash hit, Jersey Boys.

Find out how two small-town Canadian kids grew up to BOTH play a bonafide Rock-And-Roll Hall-Of-Fame superstar on stages around the world, to an audience of millions.

You'll hear all your favourites from Jersey Boys, including SHERRY, WALK LIKE A MAN, BIG GIRLS DON'T CRY, CAN'T TAKE MY EYES OFF OF YOU, plus a deep story, a killer band, featuring photo and video projections that bring this globe-trotting tale to life.

How We Got to Jersey: A Tale of Two Frankies is available to be added-on to any five or three show subscription package. Please call the Box Office before April 12th to add-on (before single show tickets go on sale).

For our first mainstage production of our 33rd Season, we bring you Love or Nothing: A Double Bill.

Featuring not one, but two charming plays by Stewart Lemoine, these witty one-act plays delivers two sharply observed and delightfully offbeat stories.

First up, in Love is for Poor People a forthright and glamorous woman of the world presents a candid look back at the trajectory of her long and eventful life, despite the fact the she’s still quite young and has yet to live most of it.

For our second act, Or You Could Do Nothing, we meet Owen Fyfe who has two significant gifts: a home of improbable size and a rare penchant for identifying unexpected potential in total strangers. In this freewheeling one-man narrative escapade, he recounts how a provocative remark from his dentist spurred him to maximize the impact of these attributes while unlocking the mysteries of his own past. Warning: Positivity!

Join us for charming double bill from October 15th - November 1st. Love or Nothing: A Double Bill is automatically added to any five show subscription package and can be included in three show subscription selections.

Next up, we see the return of what is now a ‘holiday tradition’ at Theatre Orangeville with another panto from the comedic duo of Debbie Collins & David Nairn. Get ready for 'A Lamp Full of Laughs' with Aladdin: A Lad In Dufferin County

Prepare to be swept away on a magical adventure full of laughter, music, dancing, and just a touch of local history! We proudly present a delightfully fractured take on the story of Aladdin. We are keeping our beloved pantomime tradition going, with your favourite fairy tales, reimagined, the likes of which no one has ever seen, right here on your Theatre Orangeville stage. Expect genies, romance, intrigue, flying carpets, a magic lamp, and a cast of wonderfully zany characters, plus all the familiar tunes, hilariously rewritten just for this panto!

We guarantee enough mischief, mayhem, and magic to fill the Cave of Wonders to the rafters! Jump on your magic carpet and bring the whole family!

Aladdin: A Lad In Dufferin County will be coming to us from November 26th - December 22nd, 2026 and will automatically be added to any five show subscription package and can be included in your three show subscription selections.

Welcoming us back into the theatre after our holiday break, as we bring our third mainstage production of the season with Flight, a World Premiere by Mark Weatherley.

What do you do when you lose your job, lose your husband and your town is dying? Why you decide to open a winery of course! But do daydreams really just lead to day drinking? Join Dianna on her hilariously rollicking adventure as she improvises her way from after hours janitor to high stakes entrepreneur, all the while navigating bureaucracy, blatant snobbery and botrytis armed with nothing except pluck, courage and a wit as dry as a cold Chablis. Fasten your seat belts for this hilarious flight, as Dianna shoots for the stars.

This 'Second Chance at Life' comedy hits the stage from February 18th - March 7th, 2027, and will automatically be added to any five show subscription package and can be included in your three show subscription selections.

For our fourth mainstage production of the season, we find ourselves intrigued by the mystery of BALLYCROY by Marek Norman. A wild and hilarious 'who-done-it' that will take us on some exciting turns and twists a la Agatha Christie style murder mystery.

The Southern Ontario community of Ballycroy enjoyed explosive success from 1821-75, when a suspicious fire destroyed much of the town, taking the lives of three Irish milliners before fading into relative obscurity. Over the years that followed, Ballycroy’s sad fate has been the subject of rumour and insinuation.

Fact or fable, truth or lies - there is no denying that three women were lost to flames that lit the night sky above Ballycroy on April 29, 1875. Marek Norman has created a work that walks the line between myth and reality. His musical play contains a wide variety of themes, such as Celtic folklore, pioneering courage, fear, faith, destiny... and ghosts.

BALLYCROY will be on stage from April 1st - 18th, 2027 and will automatically be added to any five show subscription package and can be included in your three show subscription selections.

Last but not least we bring you Age is a Feeling by Haley McGee, in a story we are calling 'Life: Chosen by Life'

Inspired by hospices, mystics and trips to the cemetery, Age is a Feeling wrestles with our endless chances to change course while we’re alive. A covert rallying cry against cynicism and regret. A call to seize our time.

Written and performed by Haley McGee, this never-the-same-twice show is a gripping story about how our relationship with mortality shapes the way we live. Charting the seminal moments, rites of passage and turning points in an adult life – your life – from the day you turn 25 through to your death, Age is a Feeling celebrates the glorious and melancholy unknowability of human life.

Following its critically acclaimed premiere at Edinburgh and Soho and transfer to Toronto’s Soulpepper, the Olivier-nominated and Fringe First winning Age is a Feeling completes our Season of Discovery here at Theatre Orangeville.

This 'Dramedy' will be closing out our Season of Discovery from April 29th - May 16th, 2027. Age is a Feeling will be automatically added to any five show subscription package and can be included in your three show subscription selections.

As you can see, the 33rd Season is definitely one that you won't want to miss. Join us as we experience A Season of Discovery at Theatre Orangeville!
