Age is a Feeling
Inspired by hospices, mystics and trips to the cemetery, Age is a Feeling wrestles with our endless chances to change course while we’re alive. A covert rallying cry against cynicism and regret. A call to seize our time.
Written and performed by Haley McGee, this never-the-same-twice show is a gripping story about how our relationship with mortality shapes the way we live. Charting the seminal moments, rites of passage and turning points in an adult life – your life – from the day you turn 25 through to your death, Age is a Feeling celebrates the glorious and melancholy unknowability of human life.
Following its critically acclaimed premiere at Edinburgh and Soho and transfer to Toronto’s Soulpepper, the Olivier-nominated and Fringe First winning Age is a Feeling completes our Season of Discovery here at Theatre Orangeville.
This 'Dramedy' will be closing out our Season of Discovery from April 29th - May 16th, 2027. Age is a Feeling will be automatically added to any five show subscription package and can be included in your three show subscription selections.

All of our Theatre for Young Audiences (TYA)Â shows are grounded in the Ontario curriculum; they teach, through theatre.
Bonus: we hire educators to create study packages, so your classroom can get the most out of the experience.
