Aladdin: A Lad In Dufferin County
Prepare to be swept away on a magical adventure full of laughter, music, dancing, and just a touch of local history!
From the creators of Cinderella… If the Shoe Fits, Sleeping Beauty… A Fairy’s Tale, and Rapunzel: A Braid New World, we proudly present a delightfully fractured take on the story of Aladdin. We are keeping our beloved pantomime tradition going, with your favourite fairy tales, reimagined, the likes of which no one has ever seen, right here on your Theatre Orangeville stage. Expect genies, romance, intrigue, flying carpets, a magic lamp, and a cast of wonderfully zany characters, plus all the familiar tunes, hilariously rewritten just for this panto!
We guarantee enough mischief, mayhem, and magic to fill the Cave of Wonders to the rafters! Jump on your magic carpet and bring the whole family!
Aladdin: A Lad In Dufferin County will be coming to us from November 26th - December 22nd, 2026 and will automatically be added to any five show subscription package and can be included in your three show subscription selections.Â

What is Theatre for Young Audiences?
We believe theatre is a powerful tool. It dramatizes and contextualizes the world. It invites us to walk in other’s shoes; see the world through their eyes.
All of our Theatre for Young Audiences (TYA)Â shows are grounded in the Ontario curriculum; they teach, through theatre.
Bonus: we hire educators to create study packages, so your classroom can get the most out of the experience.
Theatre doesn’t have to break the bank.
