Mean Girls - High School Version

Mean Girls: High School Version hits the stage with the favourite characters from the movie, powerful music, and timely pop culture and news references.

In this hit new musical Cady Heron experiences her wildest adventure. She may have grown up on an African savanna, but nothing prepared her for the vicious ways of her strange new home: suburban Illinois.

Soon, this naĂŻve newbie falls prey to a trio of lionized frenemies led by the charming but ruthless Regina George.

But when Cady devises a plan to end Regina’s reign, she learns the hard way that you can’t cross a Queen Bee without getting stung.

Don't miss this amazing summer Young Company musical production!

Please note that the Town of Orangeville will be replacing the elevator in Town Hall during the months of July and August and therefore access to the Opera House may be unavailable to some. Theatre Orangeville remains committed to meeting the accessibility needs of all people and are actively looking for ways to ensure all patrons are able to enjoy the Summer 2024 Young Company productions! We hope to be able to provide seating in the ground floor atrium and a live feed from the stage on the Atrium screens. We will update this notice when we have confirmation of this option.

Please call the Box Office if you have any questions.

What is Theatre for Young Audiences?

We believe theatre is a powerful tool. It dramatizes and contextualizes the world. It invites us to walk in other’s shoes; see the world through their eyes.

All of our Theatre for Young Audiences (TYA) shows are grounded in the Ontario curriculum; they teach, through theatre.

Bonus: we hire educators to create study packages, so your classroom can get the most out of the experience.
