Music in the Meadow - A Fundraiser for Theatre Orangeville

Great Music, Good Food, and Generous Vibes.

Join us for an easygoing live concert experience filled with classic songs, familiar country favourites, and singalong hits that everyone knows and loves. It’s all about great harmonies, feel-good energy, and a welcoming atmosphere, the perfect way to spend a late-summer afternoon.

On Saturday, September 12, 2026, Jack Baird and Gayle Henkenhof are opening up their beautiful Hockley property in Mono for this outdoor community gathering in support of Theatre Orangeville. With space strictly limited to 100 guests, it’s a wonderful opportunity to catch up with neighbours and support the local arts in a comfortable, open-air setting.

Just grab your favourite lawn chair or picnic blanket, find a comfortable space in the meadow, and settle in. Spontaneous dancing in the grass is highly encouraged!

What is Theatre for Young Audiences?

We believe theatre is a powerful tool. It dramatizes and contextualizes the world. It invites us to walk in other’s shoes; see the world through their eyes.

All of our Theatre for Young Audiences (TYA) shows are grounded in the Ontario curriculum; they teach, through theatre.

Bonus: we hire educators to create study packages, so your classroom can get the most out of the experience.
