The Neverending Story
Join us in August, as our Young Company presents the childhood classic tale, The Neverending Story. Returning this Summer to direct another Young Company show in Orangeville, our friend Pat Rundell will lead the Young Company Drama troupe as they bring this wonderous world to life.
About the show:
The story begins with Bastian, a lonely boy, who stumbles into a curious bookshop where he discovers a curious book—The Neverending Story.
Bastian hides in the attic of his school and begins to read, and a huge adventure surges into life. Fantastica, a land of stories, is being destroyed by the Nothing. But is Bastian just a reader of this extraordinary story – or a vital part of it?
Filled with spectacle and wondrous other-worldly creatures, this beautiful tale of the trials of childhood and the triumph of creativity will delight and inspire the whole family.

What is Theatre for Young Audiences?
We believe theatre is a powerful tool. It dramatizes and contextualizes the world. It invites us to walk in other’s shoes; see the world through their eyes.
All of our Theatre for Young Audiences (TYA)Â shows are grounded in the Ontario curriculum; they teach, through theatre.
Bonus: we hire educators to create study packages, so your classroom can get the most out of the experience.
