The New Canadian Curling Club

Four new Canadians from around the globe sign up for a weekly “Learn to Curl” class. Trouble is, their reluctant coach has some strong opinions about immigrants. What follows is the hilarious and inspiring story of a group of unlikely athletes who face off against local prejudice to become a true team. A reflection on the meaning of what it means to be a Canadian, no matter how long you've called the place home.

What is Theatre for Young Audiences?

We believe theatre is a powerful tool. It dramatizes and contextualizes the world. It invites us to walk in other’s shoes; see the world through their eyes.

All of our Theatre for Young Audiences (TYA) shows are grounded in the Ontario curriculum; they teach, through theatre.

Bonus: we hire educators to create study packages, so your classroom can get the most out of the experience.
